The Boeing Global Services (BGS) team is seeking a Program Manager/Senior Operations Manager to support our business in Northern Virginia.  This position will lead our support to a mission-critical government program and reports directly to the BGS Director of Infrastructure Support Services.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead a large team of managers, technicians, and facilities support professionals in delivering world-class customer service to our government partners
  • Ensure all services are delivered and all tasks are executed within established program guidelines and budgets
  • Serve as the senior-most Boeing manager on site responsible for professionally representing the company to our customers
  • Obtain and manage all contract resources for the site and provide full-time, day-to-day operational oversight at the site
  • Partner routinely with senior government leaders and the Enterprise Program Manager on operational enhancements and innovative facility improvements
  • Source and retain a large workforce of professionals through continuous engagement and development efforts
  • Support other programs in other Boeing business areas under the Infrastructure Support Services portfolio as needed

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).  (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.).

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience leading very large teams or organizations
  • Experience in 24/7 operations, project, program, facility, services, maintenance, DoD installation, and/or engineering management
  • Ability to obtain an adjudicated Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph post-start

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Adjudicated CI or FS polygraph
  • Knowledge of process improvement (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, etc) and quality management (ISO 9001) methodologies
  • Experience providing high-quality customer service
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts
  • Experience in planning large-scale facility and/or logistics projects
  • Familiarity with the Intelligence Community culture
  • Familiarity with government contracts (e.g. CO or COTR role, DAU or FAR experience)

Summary pay range: $185,000 - $220,000
