Candidate will be responsible for leading and executing the production operations affordability scope for Air Dominance Weapons Systems (ADWS) which includes travel to Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Sites and external suppliers.
Candidate will work closely with the ADWS development team and with Customer counterparts at the IPT level. Candidate will present the team’s performance in Program and Customer Reviews as required.
The candidate will lead a cross-functional team consisting of manufacturing engineering, production planning and control, design engineering, test engineering, procurement, configuration management, and quality and production centers as applicable.
This person will drive Affordability and Producibility, resolve yield issues/drivers, proactively identify and manage Risks and Opportunities, develop workarounds and execution of the build schedule.

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing a Development Program production build schedule (including material, tooling, and test equipment availability). This position requires continuous interface across all programmatic functions, leading discussions with internal customers on schedule and technical performance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must have a current Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years
• Bachelors degree
• Related professional level career experience in Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Engineering
• A broad base of knowledge regarding electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical production
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization including non-technical personnel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence

Prepare and execute to capital, rate tooling and test equipment plans
Provide / develop inputs to the program IMS and lead production operations tasks
Develop estimates for headcount, capital and tooling for production ramp

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
