Northrop Grumman is seeking a Project Management/Principal Project Management to: oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current system architecture and design solutions for integration and optimization using various tools and resources, such as SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Teams, Tableau, and related applications.
  • Configure and create flexible custom web forms, reports, timer jobs, web services, data validations, and workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Propose and implement improvements to enhance system performance and user experience
  • Migration Tasks: Assist in migrating data and workflows from legacy systems to the Power Platform, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of solutions to ensure they meet specifications and perform as expected and resolve any issues or bugs that arise
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all developed solutions, including design specifications, user guides, and deployment instructions
  • Support and Training: Provide support to end-users and train users on new applications and processes
  • Maintain applications after implementation, including user support and upgrades.

Technical Skills

  • Experience in developing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and related technologies, to include:
  • Ability to design and develop user-friendly interfaces and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Ability to re-write and re-engineer custom legacy applications (InfoPath, SP Developer workflows, etc.) to PowerApps solutions.
  • Sufficient knowledge of Power Platform fundamentals to monitor and troubleshoot issues related to Power Apps performance, data integrity, and user access.
  • Experience with designer or owner roles in SharePoint & Office 365 services: development, customization, administration, consulting and training to include:
  • Designing custom Microsoft SharePoint lists, libraries, and content types
  • Creating and configuring subsites and interactive webpages, managing permissions, and troubleshooting issues
  • A comprehensive understanding of all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which includes gathering and analyzing business requirements, functional/technical specifications, designing, developing, testing, deploying the applications, and providing production support, to include:
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, identify data flows and work processes, design solutions and estimate workload.
  • Ability to effectively translate technical opportunities and limitations to project stakeholders.
  • Ability to architect a solution by mapping a customer business problem to an end-to-end technology solution
  • Experience with Data Visualization and creating metrics and KPI presentations
  • Strong background in writing queries and complex formulas
  • Experience building sites/dashboards to display data driven content much as metrics and KPIs.
  • User experience (UX) and front-end design.
  • Experience with web languages HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge of coding languages such as JavaScript, C, or SQL.
  • Strong Microsoft Suite experience (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

This position can be filled at either a level 2 or level 3.

Basic Qualifications for a level 2:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience Computer Sciences, Information Technology or related field. An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
  • Experience Microsoft Power Platform, or Power Automate, or Power BI Certifications or equivalent experience.
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance

 

Basic Qualifications for a level 3:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience Computer Sciences, Information Technology or related field. An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
  • Experience Microsoft Power Platform, or Power Automate, or Power BI Certifications or equivalent experience.
  • U.S. Citizen
  •  Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200).
  • Experience with API integrations and custom connectors.
  • Experience in coding languages and development tools such as C, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, .NET, JSLink, ReactJS, AngularJS, CSOM, JSON, PowerShell and OData.
  • Experience modifying graphics and vectors using Adobe Illustrator or similar.

 

Salary Range: $65,500 - $98,300
Salary Range 2: $80,600 - $121,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
