We are seeking a Project Manager to join our teamsThe Project Manager role is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule, while maintaining high-quality standards. Serving as the primary liaison between the company and the customer, the Project Manager will focus on clear communication, invoicing accuracy, constraint management, and maintaining alignment with project goals to ensure project success.

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Introduce key players to the customer, defining contacts for various concerns
  • Provide daily progress updates, focusing on critical paths and milestones
  • Justify labor, material and cost estimates to customers for approval
  • Develop project plans with Senior Production Planners and Maintenance Directors
  • Establish and communicate critical paths, aligning with timelines and objectives
  • Identify and mitigate schedule or budget constraints, escalating to directors as needed
  • Review and validate invoicing details for accuracy and alignment with project progress
  • Monitor labor and material charges to ensure adherence to budgets and contract terms
  • Attend required meetings to brief on project progress and customer meetings
  • Assign and manage workloads to ensure optimal resource utilization
  • Drive ongoing process improvements for operational efficiency and customer satisfaction

Marginal Job Functions: 

  • Ensure all work performed is done in a safe manger
  • Direct activities to protect employees from harm and maintain safe working conditions
Job Requirements:

Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent  
  • Capable of working independently or under supervision.  
  • Flexibility to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate.  
  • 5 years in project management
  • Demonstrated experience in financial oversight, including invoicing and cost management
  • Proven ability to develop project plans, communicate critical paths, and manage constraints
  • Strong knowledge of human behavior and management techniques

 

Preferred

  • Bilingual Spanish
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to adhere to deadlines.   
  • Excellent attention to detail and mathematical proficiency.   
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English with the capability to follow verbal and written instructions.   
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying technical data relevant to the position.    

Work Location: Aircraft maintenance hangar, flightline, and Avionics Shop. 

Potential Hazards: Exposure to high intensity noise levels, extreme changes in temperature, electrical charges and radar waves, materials identified on Safety Data Sheets, working around moving machinery.  

Protective Equipment Required: Goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, safety harnesses, breathing equipment.

§ In all cases, the employee must notify his/her supervisor of any actions taken by the employee. The first employee to observe an accident or incident should take immediate action to alert appropriate responders/supervision and to take reasonable steps to prevent further injury, or damage.
