A prestigious corporate Jet company that supports a Gulfstream repair station has an immediate opening for a qualified Quality Control Inspector.
Under the guidance and supervision of the Chief Inspector, will ensure that final product meets regulatory requirements and company standards. Performs facility spot checks to ensure WJA Repair Station and Quality Control Manual procedures are adhered to. Ensures Part 135 General Maintenance Manual procedures are followed as applicable. Will supervise office staff in preparing work order task card packages for shop use prior to aircraft induction. Coordinates with customer and/or Part 135 operator to obtain Parts 135 authorization, RII authorization and identify RII items in pending work orders. Verifies accurate airframe/component times and cycles upon aircraft inductions. Performs records review to include AMM chapter 5 requirements, Airworthiness Directives, Alert Customer Bulletins, Customer Bulletins, Aircraft Service Changes, Flight Manual Supplements and major repairs or alterations. Audits finished work orders for completeness, accuracy, manual references and RII. Hosts FAA, EASA & Part 135 audits. Supports hangar staff with inspection, RII and return to service when needed. Other tasks as delegated by the Chief Inspector.
Job Requirements:Must possess an Airframe & Power Plant license, minimum 3 years’ experience inspecting Gulfstream aircraft. Proficient with MS Office, good writing and verbal communications skills.
