Job Title: Manager of Quality Assurance
Department: Safety, Quality and Regulatory Compliance
Reports To: VP Safety, Quality and Regulatory Compliance
Location: Dallas, TX HQ
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for managing the Quality Assurance process. This includes management of the internal and external audit processes, assisting in the Continued Analysis Surveillance System (CASS) and the Safety Management System (SMS). This also includes managing Quality investigations, managing the Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) process, and managing the Tech Pubs process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with Safety, Maintenance, Airport, and Flight Ops teams while managing and scheduling the internal and external audit program.
- Managing a small team of Quality Representatives and coordinating with Safety Coordinators to perform audits.
- Oversee Audit reviews and coordinate findings using CAPAs to capture corrective action requirements.
- Collaborate with the Director of Regulatory Compliance for responding to FAA requests for information.
- Manage Quality investigations and coordinate findings with the CASS Manager.
- Oversee the Tech Pubs process to ensure manual revisions and company documents are at the latest revision.
- Assist the DOM and CASS Manager with compiling reports and investigations whenever necessary for the CASS Review Board (CRB);
- Participates in the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with the responsibilities detailed in the Safety Management System Manual.
- Manage the review and setup of Airworthiness Directive (AD) list and scheduling of compliance requirements, for acquisition aircraft.
- Assist in the new aircraft delivery process and the return to Lessor process.
- Coordinate the revision of Op Spec D085 with the FAA as the fleet expands.
- Aid in revising manuals whenever necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by the VP Safety, Quality and Regulatory Compliance
Requirements:
- Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required
- Familiar with Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (Parts 43, 91, and 135) as it pertains to aircraft maintenance.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel and power point).
- Working knowledge of a Maintenance Tracking System such as TotalFBO software, Trax, WinAir, CAMP, Flightdocs, etc.
Travel: This position requires frequent travel up to 30 of work time.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in aviation, or part 135 or 121 air carrier operations or corporate aircraft. At least, two years of quality assurance experience.
Miscellaneous Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screen as required by airline regulations and company policies.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. per the Immigration Act of 1968.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
