JOB SUMMARY:
This position assures standards, processes and training are in place to maintain compliance with repair station/aviation certification requirements. Coordinates with regional aviation authorities to expand repair station capabilities and certifications needed to serve the Asia/Pacific region. Assures aircraft repairs and maintenance are carried out in compliance with Textron Aviation Quality Manual and regional aviation requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. Leads facility quality assurance program in meeting CAAS regulatory requirements in our continued operations as a CAAS SAR-145 Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO).
II. Ensure overall compliance with the Maintenance Organization Exposition Manual (MOE)
III. Implements and monitors Quality standards and processes needed to maintain current and expand regional repair station capabilities and licenses.
IV. Continuously review and improve Standard Practices to improve efficiencies and reduce non-conformances to manuals and procedures
V. Devises and carries out plans to obtain additional regional repair station approvals allowing additional regional customer aircraft to be supported.
VI. Responsible for maintaining appropriate data and statistics to measure, monitor, and improve shop performance
VII. Regularly interfaces with regional aviation authorities on a variety of items to include: compliance/repair station audits, application of new repair station certificates and other regulatory matters.
VIII. Coordinate with leadership on all proposed recommendations and findings.
IX. Reviews and coordinates action on any “Complaint or Non-Conformity Report” received by the Service Center.
X. Ensure that all forms, documents, records, files, manuals, publications, maintenance records, and other quality information resources are periodically reviewed, and disposition handled according to Textron Aviation Standard Practices
XI. Ensure effective and timely root cause evaluations of any incidents or quality escapes, followed by effective implementation of permanent corrective actions.
XII. Oversee and ensure compliance to internal and external audit programs, maintain audit schedule, preparations, manage finding reports, trending, corrective actions and improvement programs
XIII. Manage organizational training program and ensure compliance across all job functions
XIV. Support safety management ensuring compliance with Textron Environmental Health and Safety procedures and programs
XV. Additional tasks at hand as needed.
