Quality Supervisor
What You Will Be Doing
This 1st shift quality supervisor will report to the quality manager in F-35 Wing Systems Quality supporting the F-35 production system. The selected candidate will lead a team of represented quality inspectors on 1st shift. The selected candidate will be expected to interface with production partners, other leaders in Quality, and government personnel. It is expected this candidate will embrace continuous improvement and a Big Q mindset. The selected candidate will take ownership of product quality and drive business results.
Manages more than one functional area in Quality, Reliability, Test, or Inspection. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for resource allocation, work assignments and establishing/maintaining an effective business rhythm. Responsible for all aspects of quality for assigned area of responsibility. Communicates quality requirements, concerns and expectations. Active participant in risk and opportunity management processes. Ensures cost commitments and financial responsibilities are met. Ensures appropriate identification and flow down of quality requirements (internal and contractual) and effective implementation of quality requirements. Ensures effective implementation of quality management system within area of responsibility. Ensures effective implementation of a metrics program and actively address adverse trends. Ensures product acceptance and delivery per established process and program requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
*Prior aircraft and quality assurance experience
*Prior leadership experience either in a formal leadership role or as a technical lead
*Experience and knowledge of AS9100
*Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings
*Professional experience with the following: aircraft assembly, safety, training, FOD & tool control procedures
Desired Skills:
*Ability to effectively and successfully interact with internal and external customers and government agencies
*1 or more years of previous leadership experience in a professional environment
*Excellent interpersonal skills needed to ensure collaboration
*Experience working in a union environment
*Technical and business acumen
*Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
