A General Manager plans, directs and coordinates, through subordinate personnel, activities of the airport facility to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities and personnel.

• Manages the airport operations functions of the following stations in Mexico Region: CUN, CUU, CZM, DGO, MID, MTY, TRC, and TQO. The scope of responsibility may change according to the country’s operation and organizational structure optimization.
• Develops and directs implementation of programs designed to generate maximum revenues.
• Develops and directs service programs to insure optimum product development in Cargo and ATO. lmplements procedures to insure safe and on-time movement of aircraft through the stations.
• Consults with airport management to discuss and plan such matters as design and development of local airport facilities.
• Confers and cooperates with upper management in formulating administrative and operational policies and procedures.
• Analyzes records of daily operations to maintain knowledge of facility activities. Reviews and analyzes expenditure, financial and operations reports to determine requirements far increasing profits.
• Prepares recommendations on findings far upper management evaluation. Recommends capital expenditures far acquisition of new equipment which would increase efficiency and services.
• Approves requisitions far equipment, materials and supplies within limits of facility budget.
• Enfarces compliance of personnel with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations.
• Coordinates activities with community, regulatory agencies, other stations and headquarters staff.
• Directs investigations into causes of internal and external complaints relating to the facility.
• May negotiate contracts with equipment and material suppliers.

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Previous experience in sales and/or operational phases of airline.
• Extensive knowledge of industry including key personnel.
• Proven leadership and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write and fluently speak and understand the English language.
• Develops and directs implementation of spaneting programs designed to generate maximum revenues.
