The Revenue Management Department Planning Consultant delivers on our Purpose by managing and drafting the department planning, communications, and presentation creation for the Vice Presidents of Revenue Management and Pricing to support the efficiency and effectiveness of Revenue Management and Pricing Department Operations. This role is responsible for advising and streamlining the department calendar, budget, and governance priorities of Revenue Management and Pricing. The Revenue Management Department Planning Consultant is an organized collaborator who looks forward to being part of meaningful and impactful initiatives and driving the future of Southwest.

Responsibilities
- Advises as a member of Vice Presidents leadership team in strategic planning, policy development and decision-making
- Advises on Leaders proactive approach to leadership development, learning and training compliance, including leading on plans from feedback from Companywide and Department surveys
- Ensures clear communication of Revenue Management and Pricing department vision, mission, and goals
- Works directly with Revenue Management and Pricing leadership to ensure appropriate staffing, org structure, and work responsibilities due to upcoming technology capabilities, projects and initiatives within the multiyear plan
- Manages Revenue Management and Pricing presentations from VPs for Board of Directors, RDO, STC, CLM, Department, and Staff in partnership with the Revenue Management Leaders
- Tracking, monitoring and following-up on action items coming from these meetings. Initiates subsequent follow-up meetings and communications with key stakeholders regarding various outcomes and action plans
- Serves as primary point of contact for all internal development offerings (e.g. SWAU classes, leadership training, etc)
- Consult, cultivate, and promote an organizational culture that provides for high performance, high morale, integrity, teamwork and work-life balance that supports the SWA Ways
- Builds and maintains relationships across the Revenue Management and Pricing Leadership functions
- Advises Leaders on the Strengths based approach across Revenue Management and Pricing
- Responsible for onboarding the Vice Presidents Direct Reports
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee&39;s Leaders or Vice Presidents

- Must have the ability to work under stressful situations, manage multiple assignments and manage time effectively
- Must have the ability to effectively create a cross-functional action plan in the presence of limited and/or conflicting requirements
- Must have the ability to prioritize tasks to meet department objectives and goals
- Must have strong skills in all Microsoft Office products
- Must be able to manage workload and meet unanticipated deadlines
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Proficient relevant work experience
- Proficient experience of frequently working with Executive-level audiences
- Preferred: Experience providing departmental administrative support
Physical Abilities
- Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Pay & Benefits:
- Competitive market salary from $92,950 per year to $103,300 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
