 Responsibilities
  • Lead those responsible for Sales, Sales Support, Program and Contract functions
  • Develop and manage strategies to exceed or meet company sales goals
  • Personally interact with customers in order to develop business and close sales
  • Provides accurate sales projections, activity reports, revenues and costs to the executive team
  • Help devise company strategies based on sales projections and performance
  • Assist in devising and executing business plans, strategies and budgets
  • Provide short and long-range strategic direction for product sales through existing and new channels, as well as through business alliances
  • Provide sound sales leadership to grow revenue and play an instrumental role in enabling the company to go public
  • Manage the sales of products to commercial OEMs and operators, while continuing to proactively prospect, research and evaluate market opportunities
  • Participate in new product development process, including pricing and strategy for existing and new applications of core technology
  • Deliver sound, winning proposals and presentations
  • Initiate and coordinate efforts with manufacturing and engineering to ensure timely deliveries and support of customers
Job Requirements:
Professional Requirements
  • College degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Marketing or Management.  Advanced degrees/experience are appropriate as well
  • At least 5 years of experience in Avionics Sales and Marketing 
  • A positive reputation within the aerospace industry
  • Reports to the Sales VP
  • Performance will be measured by sales revenues
