Qatar Airways (QR) have embarked on an exciting transformation journey to change how we interact with our customers. As part of this journey, we are now recruiting for the role of Senior Account Manager.
This is a home based role in Toronto, CA. You will play a pivotal role in driving corporate sales growth in the Greater Toronto Area. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with corporate clients, advocating for spanet needs, and negotiating strategic partnerships to solidify Qatar Airways’ position as a leading airline in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Business Development:
• Identify and target new corporate accounts in the Greater Toronto Area.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
Corporate Account Management:
• Source, negotiate, and finalize corporate agreements to foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Manage ongoing relationships with corporate clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Market Representation & Advocacy:
• Actively represent Qatar Airways at various trade bodies and industry events across Canada.
• Advocate for the needs of the Canadian spanet with senior management, ensuring alignment with regional business strategies.
Strategic Collaboration:
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop tailored solutions for corporate partners.
• Provide insights into spanet trends and competitor activities to inform decision-making.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven track record in corporate sales, account management, or business development within the travel, aviation, or hospitality sectors.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with the Greater Toronto Area spanet and its corporate landscape.
- Experience in representing organizations at trade bodies or industry events is an asset.
