As Senior Advanced Workforce Analysis Manager you will lead the Advanced Work Analysis team with the responsibility, in coordination with the plant’s workforce analysis departments, to provide guidelines and drive efficiencies of the workforce in the current and future production processes of the Supply Chain community. You will also be responsible to identify and drive productivity initiatives to match margin contribution targets of our products, working in cooperation with Avio Aero LBO Team.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities                                                                                            

  • Lead the Advanced Work Analysis Team and coordinate with plants WFA Teams

  • Identify cost reduction opportunities both on a breakthrough / structural base and continuous improvement base

  • Analyze and suggest metric changes to support business (e.g. Direct Labour Productivity)

  • Drive Direct Labour Productivity strategy and ensure data management for execution

  • Ensure state-of-the-art work analysis methodologies common to all Plants

  • Support Lean Manufacturing in cross fertilization and implementation of local KPI

  • Monitor and analyze production requirements, planning and forecast by program for all plants to ensure proper and optimized level of utilization of the workforce

  • Collaborate with Cost Estimation and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team to define Manufacturing Target Costs during cost estimation studies

  • Partner with Lean Business Operations on cost and productivity initiatives

  • Validate NPI routing times with Manufacturing Engineering and Plant Workforce Analysis

  • Support analysis during the ‘learning’ phase to ensure targets are met

  • Manage performance KPIs and targets aligned with the cost, efficiency, also ensuring consolidated Reporting

  • Analyze Hourly Direct/Indirect activities, and provide criteria for definition of the workforce needs

  • Coordinate and consolidate the Hourly Strategic Workforce Planning

  • Promote and introduce Digital Tools to simplify and improve data accuracy for planning and consolidation

  • Ensure growth of the professional family of the work analysis

  • Leading reporting activities at Senior Leadership level

  • Coordinate with Lean Business operations on cost out initiatives

  • Consolidate monthly workforce analysis at Company level driving variance analysis by Plant

  • Provide support in addressing and solving manufacturing related problems throughout the business, including suppliers and internal /external customers

  • Effectively communicate and provide recommendations on relevant initiatives and projects, supporting analysis and review of data to internal / external customers as appropriate

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economy or other technical field from an accredited university or High School Technical Diploma with relevant experience

  • Previous experience in industrial cost management 

  • Previous experience in Supply Chain cross-functional roles

  • Proven ability managing multi-site programs

  • Ability to guide and lead others in a matrix environment

  • Identify and promote cost reduction opportunities both on a breakthrough/structural base and continuous improvement base

  • Ability to create effective relations at every level of the Company, including the Senior Leadership Team

  • Strong background in manufacturing industry

  • Knowledge on Lean principles

  • Availability to travel as needed to support the Business

  • Fluent in Italian and English

  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
