What does this role look like?


In this role you will provide full spectrum contracts management support to a portfolio of awarded contracts supporting the Space Security, Cyber and Analytics (SSCA) mission segment within the National Security Space (NSS) line of business. In this fast-paced environment, you will be a contributing member to the program management teams. You will provide contractual and business advice and guidance to, and in coordination with, other functions including finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities. You will also support capture efforts to secure new contracts. Serving as an authorized, empowered representative for the Company, you will interface with Customer buying representatives for contractual negotiations and discussions. You will be expected to rapidly build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers to assist with mission success.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college

- 12 years+ experience

- Active TS clearance
Desired Skills:
- 10+ years in government contracting.

- Active TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance with poly and ability to maintain a US TOP SECRET / SC security clearance.

- Experience in Federal Government contract administration/management and negotiations, program management, or a related field.

- Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the organization and with external customers.

-Prior government contracts management experience

-Demonstrated experience of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

-Detail oriented and able to work in a virtual team environment.

-Strong analytical skills; able to quickly comprehend issues at hand.

-Excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-start who can work independently with minimal supervision.

-Ability to establish effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and possess excellent business acumen.

-Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

-Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
