The Senior ContractsManager is responsible for managing all contractual and commercial aspects ofglobal mega projects undertaken by the organization. This role involvesensuring that contracts are effectively administered, risks are mitigated, andprojects are executed in compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure that all contractual terms and conditions are clear and aligned with the projects objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a contract management system for tracking and monitoring contract performance.
  • Identify potential risks in contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to resolve contract-related disputes and claims.
  • Implement risk management processes to protect the organizations interests.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Conduct regular contract reviews to assess performance and identify any deviations.
  • Ensure that project teams adhere to the agreed-upon terms and conditions.
  • Evaluate and process contract amendments or variations.
  • Assess the impact of changes on project timelines, costs, and resources.
  • Negotiate change orders with stakeholders as needed.
  • Work closely with project teams to control project costs within budgetary limits.
  • Review and approve invoices, payment requests, and progress claims.
  • Implement cost-tracking mechanisms to identify cost overruns and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and project management.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on contract performance.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all contractual activities.
  • Promote a culture of integrity and ethical behavior within the organization.

You Have

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in contract management within the construction or engineering industry, with a focus on large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, contract law, and project management principles.

WE VALUE

  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with international contracts and regulations is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as CCM (Certified Construction Manager) or CPCM (Certified Professional Contracts Manager) may be beneficial.
