Job Description SummaryThe D&S Contracts team has an exciting opportunity for a Contracts professional supporting the MENAT organization in Dubai, UAE. The scope of the role includes proposal development, contract negotiation, agreement management, and external customer sales of products and services for Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) in the region. The successful candidate will interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services. Will also stay informed of industry trends that may influence work. Key customers will be in Türkiye, UAE and KSA, and would potentially expand beyond based on growing business opportunities.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Contract and customer subject matter expert supporting all phases (proposal creation to contract closeout) of International Direct Commercial Sale contract management. Projects include negotiations (terms, price, schedule, etc.), managing customer issues/relationships, claims, & disputes.
  • Requires strong customer awareness and is expected to influence the development & execution of strategy, balancing business impact with adherence to policy.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with varying risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others options on particular topics. May guide others (especially customers) to consider a different point of view.
  • Impacts the team’s ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. Work is subject to functional policy objectives. Regularly advises management in the function and/or in the business. Has a supportive role in decision making about important subjects. High levels of evaluative judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

Qualifications/Requirement

  • Sound experience in Contracts and customer relationship management.
  • Knowledge level is comparable to a Masters degree from an accredited university or college (or a Bachelors degree with relevant experience).
