Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- In-house experience at both a top tier law firm and / or in-house at a major MNC.
- Significant experience in advising on a range of highly complex technical export control, sanctions and compliance issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- The ability to work efficiently on own initiative to get things done, able to identify, focus and prioritize key legal/compliance matters, to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.
- A completer/finisher who can demonstrate work/life balance.
- A strong and independent personality, with the ability to operate on significant issues with little supervision but being able to recognize which issues require support or escalation to the Head of Export Control Compliance.
- The capability to identify, work with and influence key internal and external stakeholders and be an effective and skilled communicator; experience in advising and working with senior stakeholders.
- Recognizes the importance of building effective relationships and establishing trust and a collaborative working relationship with colleagues both inside and outside of the function; effectively manages and owns relationships with business colleagues and builds trust through collaboration.
