Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Developer plays a Critical role in creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between business needs and technology delivery. The Senior Developers role is to lead the efforts to plan, design, develop and launch efficient systems and solutions in support of core organizational functions. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues, opportunities or problems in order to maximize the benefit of IT and Business investments. Additionally, this role will build these applications with a focus on delivering cloud-based solutions. The individual will use groundbreaking technologies and enterprise grade integration software daily and will be relied upon to help take the team to the next level from a technological standpoint.

  • Leads the design, development, and planning for solutions and technology standards to solve complex business problems for Tech Ops Supply Chain with latest technologies.
  • Hands-on development, Support and troubleshoot software systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing follow-up on all issues and solutions
  • Manages and participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation
  • Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
  • Managers and participates in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
  • Collaborate with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Bachelors degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging of new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use
  • 5+ years of experience with Software Development Languages & Tools, C, ASP.NET/MVC, Web API, WCF, MS Visual Studio, MS TFS, GitHub
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft NET Core, SQL, NoSQL and Design Patterns
  • Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented systems design and Application Development
  • Exceptional at coding and on time delivery of quality components and or applications
  • Exceptional at component and unit testing of following standard practices and methodologies
  • Exceptional at working problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of a variety of factors
  • Excel with on time delivery with minimal supervision
  • Creativity & Innovation
  • Effective Communication (verbal + written)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

  • Airlines Maintenance and Supply Chain experience is a plus
  • AWS highly preferred
