What you need to do the role
We are looking for an experienced developer with essential skills in AWS native cloud infrastructure, Big Data platforms (particularly Databricks), and a strong proficiency in full-stack development with robust front-end capabilities. You should have hands-on experience with technologies such as C#, .NET, SQL, Visual Studio, and Git Version Control Software (GitHub). Previous work in high transactional, high availability environments is essential along with familiarity with SDLC models, particularly Agile methods. You must demonstrate the ability to translate business requirements into technical implementations and have experience in Agile deployment frameworks with rapid iteration cycles. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for conducting feature demonstrations and occasional business workshops. Desirable qualifications include experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools, a good understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns, proficiency in Web APIs and RESTful services (microservices), and testing expertise including Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD). Soft skills required include exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, analytical prowess with keen attention to detail, proactivity, strong time management and planning skills, and the ability to remain composed and focused under pressure in a dynamic work environment. This full-time role is based in Luton working 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and spend three days per week in the office
