Job Description SummaryThe Senior Director – Intelligence, Threat Analysis, and Global Risk Assessment demonstrates accountability for objectives related to the Aerospace Response Center (ARC) and Global Security Program operations, procedures, and processes. In this role, you will integrate and develop core intelligence and risk analysis competencies that meet business needs and contribute to overall strategic outcomes while managing dynamic issues by demonstrating functional expertise in intelligence, threat analysis, global risk assessments, ARC operations, and crisis management. While not a complete list, initial areas of focus will be analytic tradecraft, protective intelligence, insider threat mitigation, and the development of risk assessment methodologies.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leads and performs day-to-day tasks associated with the Intelligence Program, threat analysis, global risk assessment, protective intelligence, ARC operations, and special assignments; will also support tasks and projects assigned to the broader Global Security team.
  • Prepares and presents reports, intelligence products, and dispatches other correspondence as appropriate and necessary.
  • Manages security tools, case management systems, emergency notification systems, Global Security distribution lists.
  • Develops and implements standard analytic tradecraft for GE Aerospace.
  • Develops relevant policies and standard work associated with Intelligence, Threat Analysis, and Global Risk Assessment.  
  • Leads the development, maintenance, evolution, and implementation of the intelligence program, as well as the review, coordination, and refinement of attendant processes. This includes, but is not limited to, protective intelligence, counterintelligence analysis, insider threat mitigation, and the development of various risk assessment methodologies.
  • Serves as a vital member of the Global Security team by providing direct assistance in security operations, crisis management response, documentation, coordination, management, and training as directed by the Global Security Team.
  • Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of own team. Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
  • Minimum of 15 years United States Intelligence Community-related experience. Intelligence Community Joint Duty credit is preferred.
  • Presents a professional demeanor and demonstrates excellent speaking, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Executive leadership experiences, to include:
    • Leading the development or overhaul of a protective intelligence program
    • Leading or managing domestic and international critical incident(s)/crisis response(s)
    • Leading an organizational intelligence program
    • Approving the dissemination of intelligence products to external customers and foreign governments
  • Experience leading or conducting intelligence analysis specific to counterintelligence threats, counterterrorism threats, criminal threats, and insider threat activity is required.  
  • Experience developing risk assessment methodologies.
  • Experience leading the development and implementation of an organizational threat mitigation plan.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance.
  • Ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Frequent travel is required for this position, both domestically and internationally.
