Job Description:

Purpose

The Senior Director of Completions reports to the General Manager and Senior Vice President of Operations and is responsible for the operations of all aircraft completion support shops (Interiors, upholstery, cabinets) completions engineering and project management office. This position is also responsible to assist in developing and directing the workflow of major refurbishment projects in the facility, to include project planning and execution of the aircraft refurbishment project in accordance with the policies and practices of Citadel Completions.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for cross functional coordination with aircraft maintenance managers, project managers, engineering, supply chain, design, certification and other support groups to establish critical path resolution and action plans to ensure integration and correlation of functions.

• Work with internal partners to develop project plans, risk assessments, action items, milestones, resource requirements and critical path items.

• Analyze all scope changes relative to baseline plans to identify impacts to schedule, cost, deliverables and risk. Proactively lead the analysis, mitigation plans and negotiated resolution due to scope changes

• Supports Business Development and Sales for RFP/contract construction, in cooperation with the Finance Department, including services pricing and proposal language.

• Team with Supply Chain Leadership to develop, negotiate, and establish cost-effective contracts with approved third-party suppliers to supply effective services as necessary for completion operations.

• Lead completion back shops with staffing and organization restructuring, training initiatives and policy development.

Qualifications REQUIRED

• 10 plus years&39; experience in FAA Part 121/135/145 aircraft maintenance/engineering, with complimentary experience in VIP interior and other modifications.

• Must have thorough knowledge of FAR & EASA regulations with concentration of experience in aircraft modification, engineering and certification requirements.

• B.A./B.S. in Engineering, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in Aviation Management.

DESIRED

• Master&39;s degree in engineering or business

• Project management certification.

• FAA Mechanic certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position manages all employees of the Completion Back shops, Project Management Office, and Completions Engineering.

Reporting Relationships

This position reports to the General Manager / Senior VP of Operations.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
