We develop top notch, high fidelity Engineering and Training Simulations for a variety of aircraft. Our simulations are basically complex, distributed realtime systems. For the development and operation we rely on a powerful IT infrastructure. In order to ensure a smooth operation and evolution of our IT Infrastructure, we are currently looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure / Service Manager.

You will be responsible for an international team of passionate Infrastructure Engineers at our site in Manching, Germany. You have the chance to directly shape the evolution of our infrastructure and products. Leading the Infrastructure Team means that you fully buy into a &34;Service Ownership&34; culture. You empower our Software and DevOps Engineers to take our products to the next level.

• Overall responsibility of the Simulation IT Infrastructure
  - Ensure legal and company process compliance (GDPR, Export Control, Security Restrictions)

• Coordination of the IT Infrastructure team & external service providers

• Prepare and maintain the IT Infrastructure Management Plan

• Prepare, agree and maintain the IT Infrastructure roadmap

• Manage the expectations of all Stakeholders, from Developer to Senior Management

• Define and monitor Service Levels

• Measure and ensure user & customer satisfaction

• Ocassionally help-out your IT Infrastructure engineer with daily tasks

• At least 10 to 15 years of professional experience in the operation and management of complex IT Infrastructures

• Experience in leading small IT teams

• A good understanding which High-Availibility, Scalability and Fault tolerance mean

• A good understanding and experince with Infrastructure-as-Code Tools, Dynamic Povisioning and Immutable Systems

• Ideally with a corresponding ITIL Certification

• Experience in large Enterprises and an understanding for the associated challenges would be beneficial

• Experience with the Atlassian tool stack (Jira, Confluence)

• Excellent English (negotiation level) - written and spoken

• Proactivity is key
