We are seeking a Senior Manager, Operational Assets to lead strategic initiatives in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply chain coordination. This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient planning, procurement, and distribution of critical operational assets while driving cost management and process improvement.
The ideal candidate will provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, oversee performance management and training, and implement best practices in demand planning, financial controls, and lifecycle management. Additionally, they will optimize inventory strategies, mitigate risks, and enhance logistics operations through strategic sourcing and supply chain partnerships. This position is best suited for a highly analytical and results-driven leader with expertise in equipment planning, supply chain optimization, and financial oversight within a fast-paced operational environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, overseeing performance management, training, and succession planning.
- Drive cross-functional coordination to align planning, inventory, and logistics strategies with business needs.
- Analyze trends and demand requirements to optimize capacity planning and resource allocation.
- Utilize data-driven insights and reporting to drive efficient decision-making.
- Develop financial plans and cost controls to ensure budget alignment and operational efficiency.
- Implement stock level and procurement strategies to balance availability and cost efficiency.
- Oversee cycle counting, auditing, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Assess risk factors and mitigation strategies for inventory disruptions.
- Manage asset lifecycle planning and ROI evaluation for long-term value optimization.
- Coordinate supply chain activities, ensuring seamless transportation and warehousing operations.
- Strengthen strategic sourcing partnerships with procurement to improve supplier relationships and cost efficiency.
- Enhance distribution networks to support operational agility and responsiveness.
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in equipment planning, inventory management, or logistics operations.
- Proven expertise in demand forecasting, cost management, and supply chain optimization.
