The Propulsion Systems (PS) has an opening for a Senior Principal Supply Chain Business Operations Compliance Specialist. The Control Account Manager (CAM)/Earned Value Management position will be on-site, located at our Space Systems Sector in Magna, UT. An alternative location for this role is the Promontory, UT facility.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processes and activities within supply chain related operations and/or compliance such as regulatory compliance, systems and technology, data analytics and performance, international supply chain, operational excellence and supply base diversity.
- Manages, develops or supports strategic direction and tactical execution of governance (policy, procedure, processes, etc.), priorities, initiatives and related activities
- Support the development of material baselines. Provide to your program office regular material Earned Value Management (EVM) updates, other analysis of material and touch labor actual costs and estimates as needed, schedule projections, cost and schedule variance analysis, and risk assessments.
- Develop monthly forecasts of material spends. Conduct variance analysis to submitted forecasts.
- Support program management through the analysis, oversight, and status of vehicle material and support equipment costs, delivery schedules, quality, and location tracking.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Operations, and other departments to achieve material availability requirements to meet program integration schedules.
- Review material procurements and inventory transfers.
- Ensure Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS) principles and processes are appropriately applied across the program.
- Conduct ad-hoc material / Purchase Order issue research and resolution, as needed.
- Research and help respond to DCMA inquiries regarding monthly data submissions.
- Prep for and support Joint Surveillance Reviews, Integrated Baseline Reviews, and all other audit activity. Support the associated data collection and submission, as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field or 6 years of experience with Master’s Degree
- 12+ years of experience in business or related field with no degree
- Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Material Earned Value processes is desired – including the establishment of the material baseline, BCR’s, IBR’s, submitting monthly work package status, VAR inputs/outputs to the status, CPR’s, risk register, accounting adjustments/estimated actuals, etc.
- Experience with Material Modules in Costpoint. Other MRP experience is also valued.
- Experience with Scheduling software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
- Experience with Material Management and Accounting Systems (MMAS) requirements – especially MPS Accuracy requirements.
- Proficient in analyzing large amounts of data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Salary Range: $98,100 - $147,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
