Role Summary
The Senior Tech Auditor is a subject matter expert in conducting technology audits, identifying process and control gaps, and ensuring compliance with policies and standard practices. This role will support and exercise considerable judgment to make decisions in the technology audit function by performing detailed audit work and providing recommendations for process improvements.
Key Duties
With minimal direction from leadership, exercise considerable judgement to make decisions in conducting technology audits and special projects as per the annual audit plan.
Identify and document process and control gaps and recommend solutions.
Collaborate with IT, E-Commerce, Strategy, Finance, and Operational teams to gather audit evidence.
Assist in the supervision and development of audit staff.
Ensure audit work is documented and reported in accordance with professional standards.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidance.
Support the technology audit co-source partners as required.
Foster positive working relationships with key stakeholders, including team members, external auditors, and regulators.
Act as a subject matter expert in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance
Make recommendations to stakeholders to address business challenges and problems in area of expertise.
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
3 years of experience in “Big 4” type technology audit firm, or 4 years of experience in corporate IT internal audit, with a focus on technology-related initiatives or related area.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration, finance, accounting, or a related discipline, or two years of additional relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum age of 18.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
CISA certification or plans to pursue this certification.
Understanding of current and emerging risks and ability to manage audit assignments.
Technical proficiency in name common operating systems, database management systems, and enterprise applications.

Salary Range
$95,000 -- $142,600 / year
Salary Details
Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees. Alaska/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.
Note: We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
