The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technology and Solution Architect to join our Human Resources (HR) Process Excellence Organization.

The selected candidate will be driving the HR architecture strategy and roadmaps for global HR solutions. This ideal individual will partner with HR stakeholders and Enterprise Information Technology (IT)/Infrastructure teams to ensure end state solutions meet the standards, design and implementation approaches for HR and our workforce. 

This role will require reviewing solutions to HR challenges to determine/evaluate solutions and provide recommendations to potential options which may include RFIs, RFPs or prototype development.  You will be a leader in understanding HR technology trends to identify new capabilities, conduct proof of concepts, evolve our standards and make recommendations to our broader HR technology teams.    .    

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ensures architecture conforms to requirements

  • Lead the development and configuration management of architecture views and models

  • Assess feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives

  • Perform trade-off analyses

  • Evaluate products to assess suitability for integration into system environments

  • Assess impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle

  • Develop architecture and data/information management standards and strategies

  • Coach and mentor others

  • Collaborate with agile development teams to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): 

  • 10+ years of experience with information technology, data analytics, and/or system architectures

  • 10+ years of experience in relevant role supporting technology (Systems and Data analyst, architecture, systems integration, etc.)

  • 5+ years of experience in delivering global and complex transformational programs; utilizing various implementation/ delivery frameworks and methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Hybrid, Agile, etc.)

  • 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

  • Experience in one or more HR business domain platforms, technologies, associated integrations/ interfaces and production support (i.e. HRIS/HRMS, Workday, Learning & Development systems, People Reporting & Analytics, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • Technology and architecture certifications

  • HR-related certifications

  • Six Sigma and/or Lean training or certification

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years related work experience, Master+12 years related work experience, 18 years related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $132,600 - $207,000
