Essential Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence:
- Plan and allocate work based on demand and business requirements.
- Oversee inspections, repairs, and component changes, ensuring adherence to approved procedures, quality standards, schedules, and FAA regulations.
- Develop, track, and meet budgets for projects, services, and operations.
- Provide feedback, guidance, and management to assigned teams, promoting a positive work culture.
- Mentor and train Leads, maintenance, and support personnel.
- Manage maintenance facilities, ensuring regulatory paperwork is processed accurately.
- Implement efficient operational procedures, policies, and growth strategies.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, FAA, and internal stakeholders.
- Leadership and Oversight:
- Ensure the department is properly staffed, trained, and organized according to internal and FAA regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement annual business plans and budgets.
- Conduct periodic inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Supervise work orders, ensuring proper signoffs, and inspect work in progress.
- Responsible for aircraft, tooling, equipment, materials, and inventory within the hangar(s).

Profile and other information related to the position
Requirements and Qualifications:
Experience and Expertise:
- 7-10 years in general aviation maintenance operations, including Part 145, with a focus on scheduling, team management, and customer relations.
- 5&43; years in a supervisor or Management role.
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings with a clean record.
- Experience in TBM and Kodiak operations, aircraft management record-keeping programs, and regulatory knowledge (14 CFR Part 145, Part 135, and Part 91).
Skills and Characteristics:
- Strong people management, conflict resolution, and resource allocation skills.
- Excellent project management experience, understanding of business operations, and ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and ability to prepare detailed reports.
