The Boeing Company is looking for a Simulator Instructor Manager - Flight Training Standardization to join our team in Crawley.
This position is in support of the Global Flight Training Standardization Team. The GFTS team supports internal global instructor standardization, AOSS Deployment, CBTA Deployment Team, customer training, and the global examiner program.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages a team of standardization simulator-flight instructors to deliver training design and simulator operation/training compliant with company standards and civil or military in-country/international aviation regulatory requirements
Conducts evaluations and assessments of pilots and instructors undergoing training in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards
Ensures simulator flight instructors meet relevant regulatory, company and customer requirements and standards
Manages the delivery of simulator flight instruction strategies and programs across all locations within assigned responsibility
Ensures that all training materials are up to date and reflect best industry practice
Manages, develops and motivates employees
Ensures full compliance with local regulatory requirements and company policies
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite. The expectation as a manager, this role to be onsite 5 days a week at the Crawley campus.
Work Authorisation:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of simulator instructor experience specifically with transport category airplanes
3+ years of experience leading and/or managing a team
EASA Airline Transport Pilot (ATPL) rating or equivalent
