Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education, experience, and training required. Master’s degree in Aviation or Management is highly desirable.
Minimum Experience
- Experience as a military tanker Pilot/Boom Operator Instructor or receiver Pilot Instructor required
- Five years’ experience required in an ATS environment, of which at least two years as a manager or Supervisor is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Morally and ethically influence others to successfully achieve program goals.
- Fluently read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Display excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess basic ATS knowledge.
- Possess basic knowledge of maintenance activities, policies, and procedures.
- Possess basic knowledge of personal computers and software applications, such as word processing applications, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Possess basic knowledge of government proposals and contracts.
- Possess basic knowledge of the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) process.
- Possess basic knowledge of aircrew scheduling.
- Currently possess, or demonstrate ability to obtain, a SECRET clearance.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the teammate is regularly required to sit, use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The teammate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The teammate must have close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
