As a Facility Engineering Senior Manager at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, you’ll have the opportunity

our Skunk Works team as we build new, and maintain current, state of the art engineering facilities.

At Lockheed Martin, you’ll use innovative approaches that help ensure reliability of structural, electrical and mechanical infrastructure that produce cutting edge systems and analyze trends while managing operational efficiencies.

Based in Palmdale, CA with responsibility for Facilities design, construction and major machinery installation across across Skunk Works facilities in California, Utah Colorado and Nevada, In this role you will be responsible for oversight of all facility projects including schedule integration, capital management, strategy of projects, and proactive involvement for process improvements and enhancing stakeholder relationships. To accomplish this, you will have direct oversight over two managers and three additional employees who will help design, plan and execute facility projects with specific areas of engineering, construction, and project management.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Experience in Engineering, Construction, and/or Project Management
-Knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of facilities layout, design, engineering and construction
-Demonstrated experience designing, planning and implementing small to large-scale capital and overhead projects on time and on budget
-Cost/Schedule integration experience including estimating, forecasting and reporting.
Desired Skills:
-Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of relevant professional experience in Engineering, Construction,
and/or Project Management
-5 years of formal leadership experience with .
-Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work
effectively with customers, staff, management at various levels and diverse populations.
-Leadership experience in a facilities organization with multiple site responsibility and demonstrated
management experience comprised of one or a combination of the following areas:
-Facilities maintenance and plant engineering
-Engineering design
-Master Scheduling/Planning for multiple locations
-Clean room design and construction
-Classified design, construction and accreditation
-Manufacturing, including additive manufacturing facility design and construction
-Sustainable design and construction

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $127,700 - $244,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $146,800 - $276,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
