The Global Trade (GT) Central Digital Technology (DT) Senior Manager shall be responsible for supporting GT DT activities for Collins Aerospace.
To be successful in this role, an individual must be knowledgeable of global export controls with specific expertise in the ITAR and the EAR; and experience applying those regulatory requirements to global DT infrastructure and information systems.
What You Will Do:
Collaborate with DT to develop, document, and align GT controls across functional enterprise-level environments (e.g., Information Systems used by Engineering, Operations), including serving as the GT Assessment lead for subject and related tools (e.g., Engineering Information Systems)
Perform regular transactional testing to ensure controls, including recordkeeping, are working as intended,
Perform annual reviews of controls to ensure GT controls are current (incorporate GT controls required by current regulatory framework for all regimes in scope),
Maintain GT controls as regulatory updates occur,
Manage GT training (e.g., for users of specific information systems),
Identify and drive enhancements for compliance and for business efficiency.
Work closely with partners from a variety of functions and levels at Collins and RTX on strategic initiatives (e.g., mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; geopolitical risk mitigation; data governance; infrastructure transitions)
Liaise with GT Authorizations Management and GT Technology Management on access controls in information systems
Must be willing and able to travel 10 of the time
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
5+ years experience US Export Regulations (ITAR/EAR)
5+ years experience working with Global Trade (GT) matters
Qualifications We Prefer:
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
Experience supporting digital technology projects
Experience with Non-US Export Regulations
GT certifications, training, etc.
Aerospace experience

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
