As a Sr Principal Project Management located in Whiteman AFB, MO you will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. In addition;

Responsibilities:

  • Considered expert in field within the organization

  • Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform complex tasks.

  • Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings

  • Problem Solving Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation

  • Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives

  • Discretion/Latitude Most assignments are complex and performed independently without appreciable direction

  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment

  • Impact Effects of decisions are long-lasting and heavily influence the future course of the organization

  • Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would result in the expenditure of large amounts of company resources as well as problems with customer satisfaction.

  • Liaison Serves as consultant to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives

  • Acts as an advisor to senior management and customers

Basic Requirements:

  • Must either have an Associate Degree and 9 years related years’ experience or a Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years related experience or Master’s degree and 5 years’ related experience or 12 years Aircraft Maintenance experience in lieu of education requirements.

  • Must have knowledge of Air Force Logistics Management and Supply Chain processes

  • Additionally, candidate shall be knowledgeable with SMR codes, Tech Data, TOs, IMDS and Microsoft Office products

  • Must have a secret security clearance and must be able to obtain a Top Secret as a condition of employment

Preferred Requirements:

  • Top Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $89,900 - $134,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
