Team Lead DevOps

Job Description:

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Team Lead DevOps (f/m) to join our Department TCCA3 based in Elancourt, France.

You will be the responsible team leader within the Department TCCA3 for our DevOps team in Elancourt. You will manage the daily operation and the strategic development of the team. Your team’s role focuses on the design and deployment of mission-critical communication solutions in private data center and public cloud environments.

Your challenges:

• Manage the daily operation of the team, ensuring productivity and providing guidance to team members

• Collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow across the organization

• Create and manage assignments for the team staff to ensure proper and efficient use of resources

• Manage the communication to the team including info sharing and regular updates

• Promote and implement best practices

• Manage the individual team members, e.g. goals, performance, training & development, absences

• Help young talents in onboarding the team

• Guide and assist team members in continuous awareness and learning of relevant IT trends

• Implement policies and procedures for the department, ensuring compliance with company regulations

Your profile:

• You have a master degree in computer science or another relevant field (an equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable for this position)

• You have at least 5 years of working experience in IT industry

• You have a practical understanding of accepted DevOps principles and tools

• You have some experience in network and cloud technologies

• You excel at clear communication, you enjoy working with people and collaborating with other departments

• You are a well-organized individual who can prioritize tasks effectively, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
