Tasks
Your tasks as the Team Leader MES YUL may include, among others:
- Lead, instruct, and develop Montreal Airline Support Team personnel and initiate training and qualification
- Represent the team inside and outside the organization and communicate appropriately
- Ensure effective use of company and external resources to meet production goals e.g. quality, punctuality and product cost
- Schedule work in cooperation with the Montreal Engine Operating Center (EOC) and execute contingency plans as necessary to meet the schedule
- Ensure compliance with aviation and occupational health and safety regulations, good housekeeping and work standards
- Warrant quality of data entries, specifically of commercial relevant information
- Initiate improvements and foster a continuous improvement approach within the workgroup

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Aviation Technician required
- At least 10 years of professional experience required
- Fluency in English and French language required
- Aircraft engine overhaul experience in final assembly for Engine Family CFM56/GTF required
- Knowledge of Lufthansa Technik Production System required
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong sense of responsibility, overseeing employees and managing costs effectively
- Responsible of costs
- Willingness to travel
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work in shifts and perform overtime as needed
- Manage constant time pressure
- Manage high stress levels
- Lift up to 70 lbs
- Must possess a legal work permit in Canada
