About the role
Qatar Airways is looking for a Technical lead who Design and Development of Business central -LS Central ERP, upgrades, maintenance and support of Food & Beverage Point of Sale and Back office system. Activities may involve requirements gathering including non-functional requirements, solution design reviews, product evaluation and reviews, tech architecture reviews, NFR testing and software delivery related quality assurance compliances and implementation of cyber security controls as per policy, providing system to support. You must be hands on in customizing LS retail solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Leads the design and development of Business central -LS Central ERP
- Contribute to review Documentation of Functional Specifications, Technical specifications, Interface Specifications and Non-Functional Requirements.
- Liaise with external 3rd party suppliers, where required, and internal departments / IT teams to collaborate and design and implement robust interfaces between applications for effective integration.
- Responsible for solution design, including the technical aspects of configuration management methods, system security requirements, operational and maintenance aspects of solutions under development.
- Conducts Technical reviews and make sure that the designed solutions are scalable. Responsible for ensuring that all application Non-Functional Requirements are met, ensure thorough testing of NFRs and ensure corrective / preventive actions.
- Supports in the development of service level agreements and any associated service guarantees. Resolve production incidents or defects as needed, and proactively identify potential issues. before they appear in the production environment; contribute to the root cause analysis.
- Interact with various stakeholders and work with cross-technical teams across the design, coding, testing, production deployment, and third-party product implementation processes.
- Ability to communicate with end users and articulate problem statements to provide appropriate solution to the problem.

QualificationsAbout You
- Minimum 7+ years of Techno-functional experience in Installation, configuration, development and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics Business central, LS Central.
- With at least 4 years of development experience in AL programming language.
- Must have involved in minimum 5 full cycle implementations of BC-LS Central and should be hands-on in preparing technical artefacts.
- Experience in configuration of new outlets and POS Machines, LS Central architecture and data replication mechanism, building extensions, building third party integrations and performing upgrades to in LS Central Hospitality module.
- Experience Dynamics 365 BC-LS Central is mandatory with good understanding of functional flow in Hospitality, Inventory, Finance, AP and AR modules.
- Must have good analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
