Technical Product Managers (TPM) are experienced leaders who help lead the vision and execution of our Technology Products across the Emirates Group. In this role you will be responsible for one of our biggest in-house development products that is key to dnata and Emirates baggage management performance.
In this role, you will:
- Understand, assess, and decompose prioritised Initiatives into key features, holding a medium to longer term view of the Product Roadmap.
- Lead and collaborate with TPO’s, peer group TPM’s, and other IT stakeholder groups towards finalising future PI’s
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and service management teams to ensure the overall backlogs are balanced for a scalable, stable, and performant technology product
- Define a methodology for the analysis and response to target metrics and value post PI delivery, including recommended improvements and with an overall goal of driving increased use and adoption
- Build peer group TPM community, identifying and acting upon opportunities for L&D, growth, and advancement, whilst supporting TPOs in the establishment of their community and identity, offering support and suggestions for their growth journey
- Maintain the quality and integrity of features within their technical and team boundaries, ensuring identification and contribution of risks and dependencies, ensuring appropriate team backlogs reflect any impact
- Working with TPOs to identify and capture team-driven innovation ideas, consolidating across their peer group for playback up to stakeholders
- Working in partnership with applicable product vendors, ensuring timely feature/product upgrades, and maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the product. Minimise bespoke customisation, and influence business process changes to best utilise vendor-supplied products.
