Tasks

As a Test ENV Chapter Lead, I play a crucial role in ensuring stable and efficient test environments that enable high-quality software delivery. My focus is facilitating issue resolution, optimizing environment usage and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams to support testing and deployment.

  • Define and implement strategies for test ENVsetup, maintenance, and optimization
  • Provide transparency on existing test environment structures
  • Act as the primary point of contact for environment-related needs, working closely with development teams, and other stakeholders
  • Orchestrate and facilitate issue resolution to minimize disruptions in test execution
  • Standardize and automate environment setup and management
  • Work with relevant teams to turn solutions into repeatable actions and automation for increased efficiency
  • Implement and improve monitoring solutions to gain a holistic view of system health
  • Establish and enforce standards for ENVmanagement, ensuring compliance with security and operational guidelines
  • Provide regular reporting on environment performance, utilization, and availability

Requirements

  • Proven experience in test environments, site reliability engineering (SRE), or operations (minimum 2 years)
  • Several years of expertise in test and release management processes
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex system architectures
  • A structured, solution-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK Stack or Elastic Cloud is advantageous)
  • Knowledge of API-based architectures and Agile software development practices
  • Ability to make high-impact decisions in time-sensitive situations.Fluent English communication skills
