Job Description:

Satair is looking for a Tooling Product Lead to join our team based in Herndon, VA.

The Tooling Product leader has overall accountability for a product’s financial and operational performance as well as customer satisfaction. As such, even where the operations are supported by other departments the product leaders have the responsibility for reporting and the mandate to request actions from contributing areas.

Your challenges:

• Drives the development of the products so as to define and lead financial and operational performance improvements in conjunction with the respective development of skills & competences of the resources.
• Responsible for establishing a product development plan coordinated with other contributors in advance, and ensuring
• alignment with overall strategies and maximize the potential overall benefits.
• Launch market assessments, identify areas for product development (EBIT increase), and launch the according strategic actions/projects in line with the AA/SM strategic roadmap. Existing projects which deal with the development of our products need to fall under the Product Leader’s responsibility.
• Manage the interfaces from supplier to customer and within the organization.

Your boarding pass:

• STRONG working knowledge of SAP
• Good analytical and numeracy skills
• PC literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets and database use
• Good business acumen
• Knowledge of Customer Business & Operations, Customer expectations
• Knowledge of Export Control Basics
• Knowledge of Maintenance Oriented Airworthiness Rules & Maintenance operation.
