The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop a standardized approach for Training services NPI and Entry Into Service (EIS)
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, external US and International military organizations, and internal cross-functional team to manage all deliverables
  • Work directly with customers to understand their training needs
  • Accountable for accurate proposal finance and functional activities
  • Accountable for fulfillment of initial financial quotations and deliverable content for NPI programs
  • Responsible for transition oversight to the assigned Program Manager or Customer Support Manager at the appropriate point in time
  • Lead development of digital aids and tools associated with training
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or operations from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in services or customer or program management
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
  • Ability to obtain US DOD Secret Clearance in accordance with The US Personnel Security Program issuance known as DoD Regulation 5200.2-R, at part C3.4.2.

Desired Characteristics

  • At least 2 years of experience managing training and NPI activities
  • At least 2 years direct instruction (facilitator to students)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills tailored for the appropriate level within internal and external organizations
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Active or Inactive US DOD Secret Clearance in accordance with The US Personnel Security Program issuance known as DoD Regulation 5200.2-R, at part C3.4.2.
