Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Join the Trident Program Management Office in supporting the Trident Navigation System.
Lockheed Martin has been the sole-source provider of the Navigation System for the Strategic Weapon System (SWS) for over 60 years and maintains the current US and UK submarine fleet.
The selected candidates will take on a wide variety of tasks related to Program Management including but not limited to the following:
• Lead program management business rhythms for the assigned Program(s).
• Track and manage program office budgets.
• Support proposals as needed, including proposing Program Office scope.
• Manage the transition from proposal to program execution by distributing budgets, establishing baselines, coordinating work authorization, and setting up Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Work with Control Account Managers (CAMs) to assist them with baselining, variance reporting, and understanding Earned Value (EV) metrics.
• Support baseline control management and work with contracts to manage contract scope.
• Support Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and track and manage action items.
This position will be remote hybrid and with up to 25 travel.
Basic Qualifications:
- Program/project execution experience
- Proven ability to interface effectively with different levels of management and multiple disciplines.
-Proven history of driving task to completion
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Successful candidate must either have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated CAM experience on Development or Production projects.
- Familiar with Earned Value Management.
- Experienced in Risk Management.
- Understands the business planning aspects of a project.
- Knowledge of Lockheed Martin Program Management tools and processes.
- Familiar with Agile Development.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $74,700 - $143,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $85,900 - $161,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
