Role Summary
To manage VAT compliance for Parker companies, ensuring adherence to VAT regulations in the UK and Ireland. The VAT Manager will provide expert advice on VAT matters, oversee VAT submissions, and ensure the accuracy of VAT-related financial reporting.
To drive VAT return and compliance process improvements including streamlining, consolidating registration and return processes.
To be considered for this vacancy, you should live within a commutable distance from Coventry and be willing to work on-site 4 days each week.

Who we are looking for
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent) with a strong understanding of UK EU VAT legislation
- Proven experience in a VAT-focused role within a large organisation, consultancy or HMRC
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills with the ability to convey complex VAT issues to management as appropriate
- Self-starter and ability to constructively challenge
- Broad experience of finance and tax technology desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the use of VAT software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
