Boeing Defense, Space & Security is currently looking for a Quality Compliance Manager to join their team in San Antonio, TX. This position will support the VC-25B program.

The successful candidate will lead the program compliance team and be responsible for Quality Management System oversight, including Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), product and process surveillance, metric development and oversight, and customer support. The successful candidate must have the ability to understand the business, inter-relationship between organizational functions, organize information and develop recommendations for executive leadership. The successful candidate must work collaboratively across a variety of functions and levels within the organization and customer.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports

  • Leads the team on the integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation

  • Provides interpretation of complex requirements

  • Develops quality metrics, surveillance plans, and process improvements to ensure compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements

  • Manages the team to analyze non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions

  • Leads the team to develop and implement corrective actions and perform sustain the gains activities

  • Performs bench-marking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved

  • Develops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of program/business plans

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System across functions

  • Manages, develops, and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions

  • 3+ years of experience do you have in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

  • 3+ years of experience developing/managing metrics and Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA)

  • 1+ years of experience interfacing with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)

  • 1+ years experience presenting and communicating data in Senior Leadership briefings

  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors Degree or higher

  • Experience with MRB processes and/or investigations

  • 3+ years of experience performing in the capacity as a Program Quality Specialist or Program Quality Engineer

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10 of the time.

Summary pay range: $110,500 – $149,500
