Description
As the VP of Digital Solutions - Operations, you will drive the digital strategy and technology roadmap of innovative digital solutions for QR Airline, and Subsidiaries operations. The divisions include Flight Operations, Crew Operations, Technical, Ground Services, QAS, QRCS, QACC, Group Safety & Security, Crisis Management & Business Continuity. In this role, you will lead the development, delivery, and implementation of best-in-class digital & data platforms, and technology solutions for both employees and customers.
Strategic accountabilities
▪ Create and implement digital strategy & technology roadmap for all operational business areas and divisions of QR Group.
▪ Spearhead digital transformation initiatives, implementation of new technologies, and systems to enhance operational efficiencies.
▪ Introduce cutting-edge digital solutions to improve customer service and employee digital solutions to service customers by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
▪ Act as a key IT business partner to all operational business divisions of QR Group ensuring alignment of technology investments with business priorities.
Operational accountabilities
▪ Develop and deploy scalable, and secure core systems, services and solutions to deliver optimal user experiences. Enhance reporting capabilities to measure performance, and impact of implemented digital initiatives.
▪ Oversee the planning, and execution of digital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
▪ Drive cloud adoption, API integrations, and seamless data exchange across all platforms.
▪ Leverage AI, machine learning, and analytics to enable enhanced, efficient, and cost optimized operations.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience
Essential: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 10+ years of job-related experience.
▪ 10+ years of experience as a Technology leader, preferably with background in enterprise solution architecture.
▪ Proven track record of leading large scale matrixed digital transformation, and innovation programs.
▪ Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing technology and digital business initiatives, and projects in alignment with organizational objectives.
▪ Financial and team leadership experience within a large complex, fast paced environment, preferably within the airline flight, crew, technical, ground operations and catering domain.
▪ Acumen for strategic business and technology planning and execution.
