The McKinney, TX Consolidated Manufacturing Center is seeking a qualified Value Stream Manager to support the RF Systems Integration portfolio. The successful candidate will ensure that functional and factory areas are executing strategies to meet safety, cost, quality, and schedule requirements while focusing on profitability, improved ROI and sustained growth. The leader will be accountable for schedule performance, risk and opportunity management, operational efficiencies and continuous improvement across the program portfolio.
Ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in factory operations, engineering and/or supply chain with experience as a Cost Account Manager and leading in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment. Additional responsibilities will include the ability to execute plans around operational efficiency in space and capital planning to accommodate growth across the central manufacturing region. The position is responsible for coordinating manufacturing efforts with multiple functions (Engineering, SCM, Program Management, Operations, Contracts, Property, Finance, EH&S and Mission Assurance), programs and other internal Raytheon factories to achieve business objectives through all phases of the life cycle (proposal through program close-out). Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reports, procedures, and directives.
What You Will Do
Provide leadership, management and direction of matrixed functional organizations and staff
Partner with Raytheon Product Lines / Product Areas / and Program Managers to develop program plans to meet program contract delivery requirements, drive profit margin and develop program bids and proposals to capture new business
Coordinate and present Operations deliverables in support of the Integrated Product Development System (IDPS) lifecycle to include but not limited to Critical Program Reviews, Gate Reviews, Sales and Operations Planning and Proposal Development. (ie Capital, Facilities, Labor estimates and any applicable learning curves)
Develop talent within the organization with regards to program execution, operational efficiency and successful transition to production practices
Supports and facilitates idea generation in Operations to ensure a continuous improvement culture across above programs to align with short and long-term targets
Qualification You Must Have
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and utilizing system data (PRISM/SAP) to mitigate constraints along the critical path.
Experience in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Experience using business and project management tools and procedures such as IPDS, Risk Management, Financial Forecasts
Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing policies and procedures and/or experience with RF Components, RF Subassemblies, and RF Subsystems
Demonstrated experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and other Operational Excellence methodologies
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to storyline and prepare executive-level discussion documents with a demonstrated ability to influence different styles
Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem solving approach, and manage execution
Business and financial acumen, strong analytical and problem solving skills, reliability and sound judgment
Ability to articulate complex issues into succinct, cohesive summaries and presentations. Experience building Executive briefings

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
