Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Profit and loss accountability for multiple MRO Businesses in Mexico and Colombia, and their associated Business Units while assuring the highest levels of safety, quality and compliance.
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic guidance.
- Champion high impact strategies to enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and spanet competitiveness for MRO units.
- Foster strong relationships with airline customers, OEMs, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to drive business development.
- Collaborate with commercial, sales, business development, spaneting, supply chain, engineering, and components leaders to seize new business opportunities, leveraging established relationships to maximize potential avenues for growth opportunities, including new service offerings, partnerships, and expansion into new spanets.
Operational Management
- Oversee all airframe MRO activities, ensuring adherence to industry best practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, etc.).
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance turnaround times, workforce productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Optimize facility utilization, resource allocation, and supply chain management to meet customer demands.
Financial & Performance Management
- Plan and oversee and oversee the annual budget, ensuring prudent resource allocation in line with operational needs ensuring cost controls and profitability targets are met.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Drive efficiency improvements through lean methodologies and process optimization.
Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to aviation safety regulations and quality assurance protocols.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulatory bodies, including FAA, EASA, and other relevant authorities.
- Lead initiatives to uphold the highest safety and quality standards within the organization.
Team Leadership & Development
- Collaborate with Human Resources and site leaders to optimize organizational structures, foster talent development, grow the business, and drive leadership planning initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of MRO professionals, including general managers, directors, managers, and technical personnel.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
- Implement training programs to enhance technical competencies and leadership development.
