Here at Parker Meggitt, we’re on the looking for an established Warehouse Manager to manage the entire flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, safely and accurately to our internal and external stakeholders. The right person will have a proven ability of encouraging team engagement and facilitation of continuous improvement activities to develop processes and systems, which will support the ongoing development of the warehouse and potential new technology. In this position, you’ll report to the Supply Chain Manager.
Your responsibilities
- HSE compliance in all aspects of the warehouse
- Organising and managing warehouse to meet daily KPI targets
- Developing, coaching, and mentoring leadership in the warehouse
- Lead continuous improvement activities
- Maintain accurate inventory management
- Ensure multi-functional team
- Coordinate with manufacturing functions on problem resolution
- Develop line-side stock processes and procedures
- Support & Organise Stock Counts as per company policy
- Work with the shipping and planning team to meet OTP >95
Who we are looking for
- Its essential that you have extensive experience of working in a very similar role managing a team of 40+ employees
- Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in the management of dangerous goods
- MHE Licence
Ideally, you will also have
- Aerospace industry experience
