Job Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This role involves receiving, documenting, and handling materials and supplies, ensuring they are stored and distributed efficiently. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of materials and products through the warehouse, supporting production, and ensuring timely shipments.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials and supplies by verifying purchase order information on ERP systems, including PO numbers and quantities.
• Document materials receipts and store them in the appropriate locations.
• Locate materials by pulling and verifying supplies listed on production orders.
• Deliver production materials and supplies to designated areas and stage finished products for final distribution.
• Locate, pack, and prepare materials for shipping.
• Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing products.
• Document product shipments by recording units and inventory, identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock.
• Operate forklifts (certification is a plus), pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signal machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
• Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
• Keep the warehouse operation area clean and orderly.
• Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.

• 2 years of related warehouse experience (shipping and receiving, kitting, packing).
• Experience SAP
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment with adaptability to changing priorities.
• Strong team player.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to visually distinguish colors.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Material handling and inventory management.
• Experience with HI-Lo and SAP ERP systems.

Work Environment

The work environment includes working onsite at an aerospace manufacturer. The role involves using various technologies and equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and ERP systems. The workspace is fast-paced and requires adherence to safety regulations. Employees are expected to maintain a clean and orderly warehouse operation area.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Covington, GA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
