Job Title: Warehouse SupervisorJob Description
We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This role involves receiving, documenting, and handling materials and supplies, ensuring they are stored and distributed efficiently. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of materials and products through the warehouse, supporting production, and ensuring timely shipments.
Responsibilities
- Receive materials and supplies by verifying purchase order information on ERP systems, including PO numbers and quantities.
- Document materials receipts and store them in the appropriate locations.
- Locate materials by pulling and verifying supplies listed on production orders.
- Deliver production materials and supplies to designated areas and stage finished products for final distribution.
- Locate, pack, and prepare materials for shipping.
- Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing products.
- Document product shipments by recording units and inventory, identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock.
- Operate forklifts (certification is a plus), pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signal machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
- Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
- Keep the warehouse operation area clean and orderly.
- Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
Essential Skills- 2 years of related warehouse experience (shipping and receiving, kitting, packing).
- Experience SAP
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment with adaptability to changing priorities.
- Strong team player.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to visually distinguish colors.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Material handling and inventory management.
- Experience with HI-Lo and SAP ERP systems.
