HOURLY PAY RATE: $25.00 - $30.00

Summary:
As the Team Lead, you have a critical role on the shop floor as you will be working with the operators to ensure that product is moving through the designated milestones, ensuring that the operators remain focused on their daily work lists, and that engineering, quality, or management help is provided when issues arise. As the first point of contact for the operators, you will help problem solve and keep parts moving so that the team can make the day.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform work in a safe manner by following all safety rules and providing recommendations to help make PCC a safe work environment.
• Achieve team production and efficiency goals by working to meet all operational and quality standards to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Partner with department supervisor to create a daily plan to meet daily TOC targets.
• Create and assign work lists for each employee in the department, ensure that employees remain productive and produce quality work.
• Communicate with the department supervisor regularly, ensure any problems, concerns, or suggestions are addressed.
• Make suggestions and help implement improvements in the department including safety, processes, quality, workflow, etc.

Experience and Education:
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but may be substituted by manufacturing experience.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred, previous experience in the casting industry is a plus.

Requirements:
• Ability to bring your best self every day to safely meet or exceed production and quality standards.
• Ability to thrive in an environment where business and team needs may change to help meet business and customer demands.
• Understanding of basic math calculations.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments, test equipment or other devices where interpretation is required.
• Ability to perform duties in manufacturing environment which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
