About the Company

North-Wright is a family company with values that include close relationships with clients, warm and friendly care of staff and positive community involvement. Our never-say-can't and take-it-on attitude has served us well in embracing the opportunities offered over the years. North-Wright's current fleet includes 21 single and twin-engine fixed wing aircraft mounted on wheels, skis, floats or tundra tires. The company's scheduled service moves people and freight between the eight communities of Inuvik, Aklavik, Fort Good Hope, Colville Lake, Norman Wells, Tulita, Deline and Yellowknife. North-Wright has a 25-year track record. The company has operated as the scheduled Sahtu regional connector since1986. Warren and Carolyn Wright have 30 years experience in the north, and a deep commitment to the Sahtu. North-Wright's corporate ownership structure includes 51% equal ownership by the Deline Land Corporation and the Yamoga Land Corporation, and 49% owned by Carolyn and Warren Wright. North-Wright's main base of operations is in Norman Wells with satellite offices in all of the communities. North-Wright operates its wheeled aircraft out of a hangar and office facility at the main town airport and its float operation at DOT Lake just two miles outside of town. Flights connect with Canadian North's jet service to Norman Wells, Inuvik and Yellowknife.
