Role Introduction
Reports to: Head of Section
The Cargo Graduate Trainee Programme is designed to develop passionate graduates in becoming a subject matter expert through management shadowing, project involvement, team attachments, and rotations. Along with hands-on experience and exposure, we offer individual coaching, networking opportunities with industry experts, and skills training to our trainees.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of the Cathay Cargo and the organisation – purpose, structure, strategy, values and drivers
- Acquire profound understanding and accomplish all learning objectives for each rotation at different teams and departments
- Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders / teams for assigned projects with the demonstration of collaboration and teamwork
- Provide support on cargo operation issues and review on the existing operation procedures and initiate changes
- Contribute innovations and new ideas to leverage latest technology as an enabler to create competitive advantage for the business
- Assist on ad hoc tasks where required
Requirements
- 2025 graduate with a bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline; Or graduate before 2025 with maximum 2 years of working experience
- Right to work in Hong Kong (eligible visa holders are also welcome, including via the Top Talent Pass Scheme (TTPS) and Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG))
- Passion for aviation and a career in cargo / logistic operations management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and work as a team
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
